It is the most frustrating thing to try and contact the JHB City Council. They DO NOT answer their phones and their FAX lines rings forever. Tried to send a proof of payment (due to their billing fault) to the numbers on the account and it does not work - rings from 14:00 to 17:30 and again from 07:00 to 08:30 without any answer of fax tone?
If you are lucky enough to get through to an Employee they usually cut you off when transferring a call.
E-Mails do not get answered
Bad attitude and nobody interested in assisting you.
SHAME ON YOU CITY COUNCIL - YOU ARE GETTING PAID BY THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY TO PROVIDE A SERVICE PROMPTLY AND WITH PRIDE. If you cannot do that, please find yourself another job where you do not have to work with clients. Shape up your service or ship out!
ARE WE EVER GOING TO HAVE A COUNCIL THAT WILL BE ABLE TO OPERATES EFFICIENTLY AND PROMPTLY WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS? WHY IS OUR ACCOUNTS NOT MAILED TO US OR AT LEAST E-MAILED AS REQUESTED - WE DO NOT RECEIVE OUR ACCOUNTS - THIS IS JUST POOR SERVICE FROM THE BILLING DEPARTMENT!
