R53 038-30 for water???

I am in the process of selling my house in Margate (2nd dwelling i rented out) On request from the attorneys for the final amount for water in december 2012 i was Totally shocked when i was informed the final amount is just over R30 000-00. I contacted my rental agent who confirmed UGU changed the water meter just over a year ago and that the soil is wet around the meter. I reported this issue to UGU and was promised the issue will be rectified. In January the Attorneys again asked for the final amount, This time it was R 53 038-30 (30 days later) I Demand this account be rectified immidiately for 2402 Teddar avenue, margate X3 to avoid legal action and the involvement of the Media to Expose UGU.
