Divorce not registered

My ex husband filled a divorce in July 2012, and the papers were delivered to me by the Sheriff in February 2013 and I have since signed the papers. But now, I cannot buy anything for myself, house, car, I can not even apply for a loan because it still shows that i am married. May I kindly request that this be registered as soon as possible as I am very depressed.
