SARS
Incorrect information supplied by consultent

Information to allow deductions was given to me by a consultent. i claimed for these deductions and have now got some or other admin penalty which I am expected to pay. I was not allowed a correction on my form and have since dealt with several incompetent Sars consultents who are unable to assist. It is unfair to expect me to pay additional tax to Sars for an administrative error. I am not a tax practitioner and relied on information given to me by SARS which is incorrect.
