SPOUSE'S PENSION NOT PAID OUT AFTER SIX MONTHS

My father passed away on 18 Dec 12.By 31 Jan 13 GEPF have received ALL the documents requested by them, including a report from SARS for the spouse's pension to be paid out to my mother. I have been following up weekly to be told time and again that it is in the process, I must wait, I can only inquire once per week etc. On 11 Jun 13 I was told that nobody has worked on this case since Feb when a report was requested from a different department in the same building. Despite my numerous calls, one follow up request was made on 17 May. My mother has been without income since Dec and nobody has even worked on the case for the past 4 months! All that is needed to finalise and start payments is this report. I managed to speak to a supervisor yesterday, Nico, and he promised to follow up. I am desperate and cannot comprehend how this can happen.
