JMPD general attitude

Yesterday, 2013-06-06, driving in a Western direction on the M2, roadworks caused massive delays and extremely slow traffic, which is understandable. However, why on earth were there vendors selling sunglasses, cellphone chargers, DVD's, etc on the highway, walking between cars? Why didn't JMPD get rid of these people? Last night, on the corner of Judges and Beyers Naude, a cripple beggar stood in the middle of the road, bent forward, wearing dark clothes. Several vehicles nearly missed him. Including a JMPD official vehicle. Needless to say, they didn't even stop to help the man to safety. They just ignored hime and drove off. Then driving on Jim Fouche between Beyers Naude and Hendrik Potgieter in Weltevreden Park, two very overweight JMPD officials were sitting, hidden away between branches and bushes, manning their speed trap equipment. This I understand as entrapment. Thus, they WANT people to speed so that they can make money. They are not ensuring safe driving speeds by being visible and helping people. JMPD will NEVER earn any respect in this way. What a shame.
