I called in to COJ to get my monthly statement for Water, lights, rates and taxes. I had the unfortunate experience to have Rodean Reyneke be my customer service assistant. She was rude, unhelpful and most confusing. When I tried to get a clear understanding of why my account that was in credit now had a R9000 amount owing to it - she told me COJ readjusted my account (at their whim) for the whole year and this is the amount I need to pay THIS month... I asked who I could speak to regarding how to 'pay it off' since its impossible to pay that amount right here and now but it was impossible to get an answer from her. She was obnoxious and told me it was my job to take my own meter readings and keep checking my bills.. Wow when will we get to a point that we can actually TRUST you COJ to bill us correctly so we wouldnt have to do YOUR JOBS for you. And what the am I letting onto my property every month to read my meters for me... don't these people pass on the meter readings??? When I asked for this lady's name she put me on hold and the big guns... MR PETERSON came to save the day and... protected her!! unbelievable - Mr Peterson - does Roedean pay your salary??
