Ambiguous and misleading RENEWAL subscriptions

I am a subscriber to Car magazine, and renewed my subscription to Car 2 months ago. When i received the magazine with renewal method, it was NOT mentioned that I have the option of renewing my subs at a discounted rate without the free gift, or at a higher premium WITH the gift. When i called now to query as i have not received my December, and January issues, and the free gift as yet, i was told that i dont qualify. This advertising is ambiguous and misleading. Had i known that, I would have waited for a Groupon offer and then renewed my subscription. I feel cheated by Magsathome/Car Magazine.

I wonder how many other subscribers they have done that to... also, half of December is done, and i havent even received the December issue which comes 15days before the month. This form of treating customers is absolutely pathetic!
