Paying for a newspaper that i dont recieve

Last year the newspaper (Sunday times) was delivered irregularly, there were months when I did not receive the newspaper at all. so in October 2012 I faxed for my subscription to be cancelled but they never cancelled, I found out this year in June that the company is still deducting money and I haven't received the newspaper at all this year. I therefore demand a refund in full as from October last year. proof of fax can be provided. its time people learnt to provide good service or pay for the poor service they give us.
