Caught in fight between head office and branch

I have an item which was sent to SA in February 2013. The was sent via registerred mail and was apparently lost between JHB mail centre and Jukskei Park on 1 March 2013.

I have listened to fights between the Customer Service Centre (Eugenia) and Jukskei Park (Sibongile) for the past 3 days whislt they both seem to be blaming someone else for the Item going missing.

Amongst the excuses I have heard is
"that was the time of the strike" are "the fax machine was not working then"...

Customer Service advised me to phone Jukskei Park to ask them to open and enquiry, Jukskei Park says I have to contact the overseas supplier to open the enquiry.
