Inspector judges with no interest to facts!!!

We recently went to the spca Randburg to adopt our 2nd dog. We chose a dog, we put down the deposite and were told that an inspector will come and view.
The inspector came to our property in Craighall, and complained about everything, he even said that our current dog of 3 years couldn't live there because he's "distressed"
We have a massive house with a "2" yards My dog is fed/loved/walked (every day!) he goes everywhere with me besides work and when he's home my mother and helper are there to play with and make sure he is safe and kept busy.
What is the point of the SPCA?? is it not to find good loving and healthy homes to take care of and protect abandoned animals?
How sad is it when people try to help the situation by adopting and getting told we aren't doing a good job when we base everything in our lives including staying in Craighall Park to make our dogs life happier with a variety of parks to take him to EVERY afternoon.
WE were insulted by an inspector who made us feel guilty about the way we took care of our pet.
I know its not about money, we can easily buy a puppy, but we chose to adopt because our dog is wonderful and one of the biggest parts of our life. SHOKED
