My cellphone line not active for two weeks already

On the 19/03/2013 i received my samsung galaxy S3 which is on contract, i phoned sell direct on the same day to have my line open as they needed to do a sim swap. up till this day nothing has been done and i'm stuck with a phone that's not active. i have already made 4calls over these past two weeks and the consultants at the switchboard keep giving me stories. i have had this contract since february 2011 and this S3 is an upgrade to my previous phone. no one ever calls back and i'm expected to pay R349 monthly for services i'm not using. if i had known this is how i would be treated i wouldn't have agreed to this upgrade. i cannot keep on wasting my airtime on calling sell direct whereas no one's willing to help, the last consultant i spoke to is Tamia and she didn't even want to give me the direct number to the people responsible for sim swaps. she promissed to mark my matter as urgent yesterday on the 3rd of april and no one evr got back to me. the funny thing is they even have a record of the number of calls i have made but have done nothing to act up on my complaint.
