Miscellaneous

I joined Designer Physique Elardus Park in Oct 2009 with the promise that I will be able to train at PvR Gym as soon as they open. In April 2010, I went to the PvR branch to train, but they informed me that I have to pay an extra R199 per month if I want to train there. I tried to cancel the membership, but they told me I had to sell it. So I paid my membership fees for three years. In July last year I went back to the gym to give my 3 months notice, as per my contract, but they couldn't trace me on their system. I even helped them look through their files. So I cancelled my d/o at the bank. After three months, they managed to take another d/o, so I returned to the gym, and only then did they realise that my membership has been transferred to PvR in 2010! So I went to PvR and they informed me that I had to give 3 months notice, which I refused. Eventually they said I could give them 1 month notice which I refused as well. I paid them the three months notice on Tuesday after they sent me 3 sms's per day for the past 17 days. Now, they are charging me R390 xtra for sms's and emails sent to me. Now I will be taking it further. HOW DO YOU GET RID OF A GYM MEMBERSHIP!!
