Deceit

I purchased a climate control lipice for R108. I immediately picked off the price in the store then left and opened it and used it. It tasted terrible and I realised it must be old stock so 15minutes later returned it. The assistants tried it too and agreed so refunded me as there was only one other in the store that probably was from the same batch. I left.
I then got a phone call 5minutes later to say that headoffice say I cant be refunded and I must return to the store as the one I took back was old.
I went back to the store immediately and they produce an old yellow half used one with the scruffy price attached and say that I cant return it in that state!! This one was not the one I had just purchased and returned!! They insisted it was and that I must take the other one in the shop and return the refund. I was so angry and asked who had the one I returned as this was not mine.
I received blank looks and insistence it was mine and insinuation that I had tried to be devious!! (over a R108 lipice!). I walked out and called head office.
I have been going to that Sorbet for years and have spent thouasnds but after this kind of treatment I will never go back! Disgusting!
