National Trailer Hire
Will never rent from National Trailers agan!!!

I recently hired a 3m trailer from National Trailer hire. Just before the trip I checked the tyer nut to see if my spanner fits and it does. On the journey I have a blowout on the wheel I have not checked and to my surprise the wheel spanner does not fit. The left wheel I checked was a size 19 and the right was a size 17!!!

Stuck 25 km's to the nearest town nobody would stop and I was forced to call a tow truck to supply me with a 17mm spanner, A cost of R2000 later including a new tyre, callout and a spanner. Excluding R800.00 for the Trailer.

Erigh response is as follows:
1. I should have red the contract and I take the trailer on my own risk.
2. I am responsible for the trailer as soon as I leave the depot
3. I should have stopped cars to see if they could give me a spanner
4. I should have gone to the closed town to get a spanner (I only have a load of conference gifts on the trailer and should i drive on the rim causing more dammage).

All for my cost.

This is the last time I use National Trailer hire and I WILL TELL EVERY BODY NOT TO USE THIS poor serviced trailer company.
