Confirmed appointment but salon closed

I made an appointment with Angie for 2 full body massages on 1 March 2013 at 1pm.

Said appointment had been confirmed by Angie via email on 28 February 2013.

When we got to the salon, there was no one there. I tried contacting them telephonically on the landline and cell number provided without any success. I was then told they were moving (on the same date as my appointment)

We then drove to the new address which did have the Jean Bare Board up but was also deserted. I tried calling numerous times but couldn't reach anyone. I then emailed them but have not even had the courtesy of a reply.

How do you book and confirm appointments if you know you won't be able to honour it. I took the afternoon off from work and drove all the way to the salon for nothing.

They clearly have no respect for a client's time.
