What you order is not what you get!!!

Be careful! You might order hens and receive cocks and not be informed that this is a possibility when you order 6 wk old, Light Sussex @ R150 ea.
Background: My kids are allergic to cats and dogs. So we decided to get them some chickens as "pets" and also teach them where eggs come from. And make it their way of earning pocket money - by looking after the chickens. So we order the following from Bruce @ Clareyn Hatcheries. Email to Bruce: "We spoke today about the chickens. Can we please order the following for delivery to address below. Attached please find proof of payment for R1 120. Please advise when can we expect delivery. Much appreciated. POTCH KOEKOEKS, 4 mnths R150 ea (1x, 1x hen); LIGHT SUSSEX, 6 wks R150ea (2x hens); BUFF ORPINGTONS, 2 mnths R150 ea (2x hens)." I follow up after my hens turn out to be cocks to find out what we can do and I get told "I remember our conversation and I definitely informed you that we cannot determine the sex at 6wks. As I tell all my customers" Yet, I can't remember being told and I emailed you to confirm order and no one mentioned that this is not what I would receive. And Bruce isn't interested in discussing it further...
