The quote on Tuk Tuk Taxi, on the physcial Tuk Tuks is "R25 for the first 5km and R5 a km thereafter".

I have booked 4 tuk tuks to do a pub crawl in the Parkhurst, Greenside and Parktown North for a bachelorette on the 2nd of March and decided to test it out for Valentines Day, I was told there would be an inflated price due to it being Valentines day. No quote was provided of the inflated price. In addition their website [URL Removed] has been under construction so I could not check the price, but assumed it would probably be double.

The ride was fabulous and alot of fun. The driver was slightly late, but he was very plesant. Howeverthe bill was R125, 5 times the normal price!!! I notified the driver to cancel the return trip and we walked home.

Upon phoning this morning, I received an extremely bad attitude, no acknowledgement of false advertsing, and to finish off, i was told "it wasn't very nice waiting for you for your return trip" of which this was already cancelled. I was also turned down for the bachelorette when I asked for a quote after confirming the details and was told to visit facebook for the price increase.

Such a disappointment for a promising business.
