Incompetant service delivery

My borehole pump was hit by lightning which was insured by Standardbank Insurance. I was given a claim number by the Insurance co.and told to contact their service provider J.J.Holmes. The company could only attend to this claim a week later. The insurance gave me permission to find a company who could attend to the problem which I did. All of a sudden J.J.Holmes did find the time to assess the problem and arrived at my property before the company which was going to do the job. His two technicians did find that the pump was damaged but they could not remove the pump because it was stuck in mud. They did not even touch the pump, let alone trying to remove it. Standardbank insurance was informed by J.J.Holmes that the pump was stuck in the mud and therefor the insurance should not cover the removal of the pump. R9, 500.00 later the pump was removed by Topline Boreholes and now Holmes wants to get on the bandwagon and do the "repair" of a pump which is irrepairable.
