Post Box rental discounts for pensioners

As a government service the "Virtual Post Office" web site is overcharging pensioners. When paying on this site pensioners are being misled into forfeiting their hard earned entitlements by demands for full rental fees without being offered the available pensioner discounts; this also happens in Post Offices and on the rental accounts issued. The persons age is known (ID numbers are given on site registration) and a reasonable person would expect the correct rentals to be presented for payment but that is not happening. Apparently discounts payments can only be given at PO's on request and after presenting ID's. Last year and I was one of the many pensioners who overpaid. Hopefully the extra money is not disappearing.
