E-Ca
Shady repairs, and don't follow instructions

Miscellaneous

The reasons for my suspicions are as follows. I sent my car (POLO PLAYA 1.6) in for a major service. I got a phone call with a whole list of faults. Some of them seemed a little uncalled for. I had just changed my boot shocks and next thing I know these guys tell me that it needed to be replaced!..nevertheless i trusted them and told them to go ahead. I then asked them if they checked the CV's. they said they had and there was nothing wrong with it... only the CV boot needed to be changed. The total was -R 5000. I paid this amount. A few days later I noticed the boot lid didn't go all the way up as the NEW boot shocks were not working. I also checked the cv and it was making a noise on a sharp left and right turn. I sent it back and they confirmed that the shocks were faulty and the CV joints needsreplacing. I AM OFF!!! Usually the garage returns all the spares they replaced... when I originally picked it up from them... they did not do this... STRIKE 1... The boot shocks were worse than what i originally had bought... STRIKE 2... and they said they tested the CV's when they did not..STRIKE 3. I do not want to deal with these guys. ECAR senior management..please call me asap!
