My Opel astra J 2012 has been at the workshop for31 days. Opel is unable to fix the problem with the park brake failing. This caused an accident. Opel technical engineers are incompetent as they don't know how to fix the issue. Opel customer care is pathetic. Aiden constantly missed feedback deadlines. Spoke to Udeshan who is the escalation manager, he also missed feedback deadlines. Customer care doesn't take ownership to resolve issues, they rather provide feeble and scripted apologies for the incompetence of GM as a whole. It takes up to 10 days for a technical engineer to come out and he also doesn't keep to his dates. It takes 5 days to get technical wiring diagrams for a new car. As much as the dealership is trying, the problem is out of their technical capabilities. Spending 301k on the opel J was a mistake. People buying the GTC and OPC are at the same risk, rather buy a different brand. With pathetic service from GMSA customer care and technical support, I have lost all loyalty to the GM brand. This is my last GM product. As soon as the car is out I am going to trade the junk in and buy a VW. Stay away from opel... they are pathetic. I will post daily on any public forums
