Lack of parts and slow repair turnaround

I have been a proud owner of numerous Mercedes vehicles for the past 10 years. My current vehicle is a 6 year old ML 320 diesel which more recently has been giving me various mechanical problems. In the last 4 months, my vehicle has been booked in at least 3 time and each time the vehicle has been in for repairs at Mercedes Rosebank for /- a week. In total, my vehicle has been in for repairs for over 30 days in the last 4 months. This includes 2 occasions where Mercedes SA did not have parts for the vehicle in SA and the parts had to be imported from Germany. Just yesterday, I collected my vehicle from Mercedes Rosebank after the airconditioner compressor and pulley needed to be repaired. The vehicle was in for over 3 weeks.
I gather that many Mercedes owners are experiencing similar problems, especially GL owners whose vehicles have front suspension problems.
So I would like to inform Mercedes that my loyalty and patience had severely weathered and I will be moving manufacturers. I will soon be the owner of a Porsche Cayenne and I somehow doubt that I will receive the bad level of service and turnaround times that I have received over the last few months from Mercedes.
