Rust Warranty - Rejected

Bought Renault t Logan 2010. Rust warranty 5 years. They rejected my warranty claim on THE RUST of the BODY because my service was 1000km overdue. WHAT THE DOES MY ENGINE SERVICE HAVE TO DO WITH MY RUST ONT HE BODY. I can understand if my gearbox or engine fail and you rejected the claim because I am a 1000km's over the service. This is RUST. It has NOTHING To do with a engine service, gearbox service, Please give me an explanation has to how does my service of my engine affects a rust patch on the door or bonnet or boot or roof. GIVE me A VALID REASON AND NOT YOUR WARRANTY BOOK STORY!
