ELEVATOR STILL NOT WORKING AFTER 21DAYS!!!

Kone is the service contractor for our Sabiem elevator in Strand. We pay them a monthly fee to maintain the lift.
On 2nd January the lift broke. We are now in day 20, with no idea of when we will have a functioning lift again.
My wife and I live on the 8th floor. I have had knee surgery recently. My wife had an operation yesterday. We have no alternative but to negotiate the staircase daily, due to the utter incompetence of KONE and its employees!
Out of desperation I called Shaun Chetty in JHB. He referred me to Kevin, the regional manager for Cape Town.
I was told that the expert specialising in the work required on our lift, was on leave and the others didn't really have a clue what was going on!
I cannot believe that KONE applied their mind to our situation. If they were serious about delivering decent service, this complaint would not have been necessary. Further calls to both gentlemen have gone unanswered... proving that they are ducking and diving in stead of delivering.
We have a number of older occupants in our building. How is it acceptable to render this pathetic attempt at repairing our lift?? KONE, SHAME ON YOU!!
