Renault South Africa
Car not fixed in a month

Miscellaneous

I took my Renault Megane to Renault Centurion on 17 December 2013 to get problems with the fuel system fixed. I was given a quote later that day and told I had to pay a deposit for parts before they could be ordered. On 18 December 2013, first thing in the morning I went to Renault and made payment for the parts. I was told the parts would take at least 15 days to arrive as they had to be ordered from France, so on 6 January 2014 I called to find out what the status was with my car. I was then told that the order which was processed on 20 December 2013 (two days after I made payment) was only being dispatched to France on that day because the factory in France was closed for the December holidays. Upon calling Renault South Africa, I was given information contrary to what the Centurion Service Centre gave me - they told me they were not closed for business at the time Centurion claimed they were closed. During the course of this week (week starting 13 January 2014) starting from Monday, I have made 3 phone calls and sent two emails to follow up on the status of my parts however Renault Centurion has not been able to provide feedback. It is now Friday and still I wait.
