I first met with Gustav from SpaWorx during the first week of December 2012. I received a quote for a new Jacuzzi cover and repairs to the pump and blower. I accepted the quote and made payment on 11 Dec 2012. At the time of signing the quote I was assured that I would receive the cover and have all work completed within the month of Dec.
I followed up with Gustav the following week and was told that there had been a at his supplier's factory and that my allegedly completed cover had been and that I would have to wait until 2nd week in Jan when the factory reopens before I could receive the cover.
After repeated calls to Gustav I eventually managed to reach him and in this conversation it was CONFIRMED that the cover would be delivered and remaining work completed on Friday 25 Jan and as such I arranged time off from work to ensure that I could let Gustav onto the property on the day.
I received an SMS message on the evening of 24 Jan saying that Gustav had been ill and he did not arrive. I cancelled the acceptance of the quote and requested a full refund of the deposit paid.
I have finally received a refund of my deposit, LESS AN AMOUNT OF R450 FOR A CALL OUT FEE.
