My packet of Rothmans has made me sick. LITERALLY

I bought a packet of Rothmans special mild yesterday. Upon smoking my first cigarette I could taste that something wasn't right so I put the smoke out. I tried another later yesterday evening and the same result, it tasted all together wrong and nothing like what I am used to. I was desperate and ended smoking another 3 last night (all with the same strange taste and disgusting after taste) and no more since. This morning I have woken up with a throat on fire and its excruciatingly painful, swollen and blood red

I understand that these things can happen in the manufacturing process, however I am in extreme pain and the pain only started after I had smoked the cigarettes that were manufactured by BAT.

Why are your quality checks failing?

Your product contaminated/defective has made me physically sick. Over and above this after smoking Rothmans for almost 20 years now, why is it that recently I have tasted many inconsistencies in the flavour? Today was the last straw as it actually made me sick. We will have to see what comes from this, but I think its time to re-evaluate who gets my loyal support.
