800g for 400g contents

Buying Vanish for our color clothing and the whites are essential, as Vanish is an excellent product.
My main concern is the fact that the 800g for both whites and color is always filled half way.

Can you please explain to me why?
Is it that you are selling a 400g product in a 800g container and we pay for 400g actually.

It is unfair to us as customers?
