Eskom cannot provide service - No power for 6 days

I have an outstanding query from Monday 25/11 (Ref 108 781 756) to Wed 27/11 (108 904 821). Our cables were damaged due to the construction going on in the area on the M26. Since then, technicians have promised that a new pole and cables will be put up. That was 6 days ago. How long does it take to have a pole put up? I have spent so much time on the phone with the call centre only to be told they are still waiting for a truck to come put up a pole. I have asked for the problem to be escalated and to talk to a supervisor but that has not materialised.

If they can't put up a pole in 6 days how can they manage the country's electricity supply? I am not surprised Eskom has been nominated for the worst company in the world award. They truly deserve it.
