Lyoness is a very well thought through. That is why PnP and Woolworths did not see the danger immediately. They catch the fish in the following order
- Loyalty Merchants
- People that do down payments (which is not an investment)
- Shoppers - (indirectly)

I am one of the stupid, misleaded people who did a Down payment of R9000 and like you said, when you try to get it back - Ha ha. They told me I have to invest another R90 000 or more before I can get it back. I should have known better! Thick contracts and very complicated systems are always very dangerous.
Be very careful, if you want to join the scheme, just be a "For free shopper"
DON'T DO
- Down payments or
- convince people to do Down Payments or
- write in Loyalty Merchants

Friends will become enemies when they come to known that you have mislead them, without you even knowing it.

I am a stupid accountant and it took me about 3-4 months to see through the system.
It got everything to do with the time value of money. And it is a good disguised Pyramid Scheme
