I've purchased numerous pieces of equipment from TOMs Braamfontein with amazing service. For the first time over the weekend I'd decided to grab a pedal from TOMs in Sandton as this is closer to where I live. Thanks to the shocking service I've received from Mr Justin Rae I will never do business with TOMs Sandton ever again. I picked up a guitar to test out a pedal that I was going to purchase, though I was told by Mr Rae that the guitar was reserved so I proceeded to pick up another guitar. The response I'd received from him was shocking to say the least, I was told that maybe I should have picked up a guitar that didn't cost R40 000. He then proceeded to take this guitar off me and test the pedal giving me a vocal run down. If I'd wanted to listen to a pedal and not test it I would not have walked into a music store. I'd chosen the guitar as I own something similar and wanted to know what it would sound like. I did purchase the pedal though I left TOMs Sandton feeling extremely insulted. I will never purchase anything from the store again thanks to the service I'd received from Mr Justin Rae.
