No refund!

I bought a Ibanez guitar on 18 December 2012 as a christmas gift for my son at the Sandton branch. The guitar was faulty. I returned the guitar to Fourways branch on 20 January 2013, they told me that they would send it to the Sandton branch. This did not happen and I collected the guitar from the fourways branch and took it to the Sandton branch on 26 January 2013. They say they sent it in to the supplier for inspection and let me know that the guitar was in fact faulty and that it would be replaced and that a new one would be delivered to the store on Wednesday, 6 February. I did not hear from them and I contacted them today, 7 February and was told that it would only be delivered next week. I said that this was unacceptable and that I then rather want a refund. I was told by Roy that he would not give me a refund and that he would get back to me, when I called at 4:05pm I was told that Roy had left for the day. I said I was coming in to the store to collect my refund and I was told by Johan that I would not get a refund. This is unlawful in terms of the Consumer protection Act. I have asked for the owners details and they refuse to give it to me.
