Rocam Signs
Damage to private vehicle

On 30th July 2013, Rocam Signs were contracted to repair/replace a sign of a large food store that is situated in a popular shopping centre. I am a tenant who works in that centre where my car is parked underground daily. There was NO foreman on duty when the sign was being erected & NO safety equipment nor safety measures were used or carried out during this process. A large sheet of metal or "beading" fell from atop the cherry picker & pierced straight through the bonnet of my car where it was parked. Rocam's initial response was immediate. However it has taken 4 months to get my car repaired after months of follow up's from me to Rocam & their useless insurance company. I took my car in on Wednesday 13/11/2013 to a local autobody repair. It was ready for collection today (15/112013) however payment from Rocam has not been made & the workshop will not release my car. According to Karen Vosloo, It would've been nice if I reminded HER that payment was supposed to be made today??? No! That's not how it works! Instead she's collecting her daughter from university in Potch. At least Just Car Autobody (Edenvale) kept to their side of the deal. But I still have NO car.
