Expected to buy my firearm again!!!

I applied for a ruger pt95dc in about 2009 the application was (about 1 year later) lost in Pretoria, I went to Kings and informed them that the application was lost and its now been so long i cant wait much longer, I was also informed by kings that they would have to start charging me storage fees, so being pushed into a corner i decided to cancel the purchase with kings, king returned my money minus i think was like 20 or 30 % of the purchase price ( - 4000), then all of a sudden (3 years later) i was called by the police station telling me that my license is ready for me to collect, I proceeded to call Kings and asked if they by any chance still had the firearm they stated they did, shocked i asked if i could come and discuss purchasing it, they agreed, i met with brendon who the n pulled out his calculator and stated that i would have to pay about R5500 for the gun, i asked why is it so much, he stated i was being charged for storage fees and inflation, Wow!!! kings had the gun in their store room for 4 years and never sold it surely they would like to sell the gun, but i must pay because they forgot about the gun (what about the money i forfeited? Disgusting
