We have a garden that has appeared in the Garden & Home and has been used for Charity open days.
We saw Abacus Gardens on T.V. and thought they would be a competent in helping out with the basics like mowing, weeding, trimming, all the things that our gardeners could not get too as we have 800 roses. From the very start, the Abacus staff appeared to be untrained and as soon as they got the hang of it, they would send new staff. Often the equipment was broken or just not here, for example: more than a few times the weed-eater or the leaf blower would be broken then no edges or sweeping would be done. When I phoned about this, I was told that they -Abacus - were sick of the staff breaking everything and they were not going to replace it! Of the 6 staff who arrived here here every week, 3 of them did most of the work - Some just stood around chatting and playing with our dog unless I stood on the patio and watched. We complained to Ann and have been ignored and dismissed on the phone. Once they did send someone round to investigate and he was appalled at the service and promised to sort it out - They did not. There is lots more but no space.
