Taking customer for a ride by on the sale

On vacation in bela bela (warmbaths) limpopo, we saw a ford granada 3.0 automatic 1983 model on private sale. we found interest on the vehicle for R10 000 deal. so we paid a deposit of R1000 after mr richards confirm that the vehicle is in a good condition and roadworthy. we arragend with him to come back to pay the rest of the money and also as he promised to help us to put the vehicle through the roadworthy test and change of ownership on my name. he did mention the following faults on the vehicle: the powersteering-fanbelts are not there, need to take the vehicle for wheel/tyre balancing, the exuse clamp at the enjin needs to be replaced. He said he put new tyres and mags on the vehicle, aswell as a new secondhand enjin (wich he can give no guarantee on). He said also that he was driving several times to Nylstroom limpopo and back with no problem. He also mention that the enjin is four weeks inside the vehicle. as we came back to bela bela on friday from pretoria, where we staying, to come finalizes the deal. shortly he telling and car cant be changed ownership due to not roadworthy at all. sorry not enough space to teel the whole story, contact me please.0741559206 hennie
