Why does this happen??

I send a parcel from Kempton Park to my godchild in Somerset west for his birthday. He received the box empty with only a card in. Why do we always have to be subjected to either bad or no service and now. This is unacceptable and so disgraceful! The value of the parcel was at least R 700. Can i be reimbursed for this???
