Magalies Park Resort
Very disappointed in poor customer service!!!

Magaliespark used to be one of my favourite resorts to stay at. During the week of 6-13 Sept, we found the indoor play area for children in the most disgusting state, with filthy dirty dolls, broken toys and generally untidy and unkempt. Went on a bird walk and the guide had no real knowledge of birds at all. Went to meeting point for nature walk, (only 3 of us) and the staff were having an argument about who was going to take us. No-one seemed to be keen and it had obviously had not been organised at all. Went to bingo evening and were told that a few people had come, but left again as there didn't appear to be enough to run the evening. We stayed and another couple joined us. They then said we could play Rummiklub as we were only 4. The game was a board short and the tiles were dirty. There appears to be a lack of first aid trained staff, no AED, stretcher/spine board etc. This is my field of expertise and am disgusted. The manager told my friend to enjoy the stay and let him worry if she had a heart attack. This is very sad and the General Manager and staff need training. I am still waiting for an email from Heidi regarding AED equipment etc. Not sure what future is for resort!
