Bentley Credit Control
Wrong Judgement

I had a debt with a school where my daughter went. The debt was handed over to Bentley Credit Control as i was unable to pay due to reasons that were beyond my control at the time when i lost employment. I did advise Bentley Credit Control at the time which was in 2008. In 2009, i got married and in 2011 i find out that there had been a judgement against my husband who had not been part of the contract and who is not even the father of the child. I requested Bentley credit control to reverse the judgement as i could not understand why it was registered in his name, after which they went dead quite until last week when i received a call from my husband furious at the call from Bentley Credit Control, he requested them to contact me. I did not even get the chance to get the lady's details who i spoke to who was so rude, who was not even interested at telling what was going on but rather was requesting my address. Bentley Credit Control has put a judgement against a wrong person and according to the Prescriptions Act debt prescribes after 3 years. I have since referred the matter to my attorney and when we requested the companies details, they refused to provide us with them
