Do not try to buy a wedding dress from Sne Motene

I had contacted one of the sellers on the website, [URL Removed] to purchase a dress she had advertised. Because she is in Johannesburg and I am in Durban, I sent my best friend, who lives in Jhb, to go and view the dress.

The Seller had led me to believe that she has a bridal shop, only for my friend to end up on the doorstep of a beauty salon and the Seller was not there! Then they advised her that the dress had been sold, after I had been in contact with the Seller regarding the dress the whole week (and never was mention made that the dress had been sold)

The staff in the salon then contacted the Seller, who once again confirmed that the dress had been sold and told my friend that she had made me aware of this, which is untrue (all the messages between us are on the website). My friend then asked her if she ever had the dress, upon which she became very rude and my friend was basically thrown out of the beauty salon/bridal shop.

After my friend had left the seller continued sending abusive message to my friend!

I was, needless to say, very disappointed as I thought that I had found my dream dress at an affordable price, only to find out that I had been to!
