We purchased a puppy on Fri 16 Aug 13 from Nature's Petland Springfield. We were told we had to wait 7 days to pick him up. We visited the pup on both Saturday and Sunday and started purchasing food etc for him in the interim, egerly anticipating his arrival. On Wed, 21Aug 13, I called to make enquiries. Over the phone, the staff member said the pup is doing fine. I asked if I was able to pick him up sooner and was given a flat ' NO' as a response. On Friday, 23 Aug 13, we went to get the little guy, only to find he was not in the store and were given another puppy. Our pup was marked with an X On his ear, this pup had no marking. He looked different to our pictures and videos of the weekend. His colour, personality and features were different. Upon enquiry the Manager insisted he didn't have a pointy eared dog we were describing. Even after showing him pictures he and his staff still insisted it was the same dog we purchased. The manager called two people who picked up their dogs prior to us which was allowed by him even though we were the first to purchase yet were not able to pick up early. Their story is dodgy, they were rude and we left heartbroken. Unethical business.
