Non-delivery of overseas parcel
- 08-11-2013

Parcel was posted via insured mail & provided with a tracking number from the Durbanville Post Office, Cape Town on 9 July 2013.
Tried to track the parcel on Monday, 5 August 2013 and was advised thru the tracking systems that no parcel by that tracking number existed in the system.
Called the Durbanville Post Office and requested Paul to track the parcel and he found it difficult to trace the parcel & requested that he be called in two days' time.
Called Paul on Wednesday, 7 August 2013 & he advised that the parcel had been held at Customs in Johannesburg & had NOT left the country. He stated that he would request that the parcel be returned to the Durbanville Post Office for me to collect the next day.
Upon calling Paul on Thursday, 8 August 2013, he advised that CapeMail had returned the parcel to Johannesburg for delivery.
Will advise friends & family of this incident & discourage them from using this service. Best way to describe this service is SH.. T.
