WATER BILLING

I live in a complex called Sparrowgate south of Johannesburg. The water billing for the month of July was R23.40 but now for August it shot up to R1 026.39. I queried this with the managing agent who escalated it to Lennert Meter services. I called this company on Tuesday last week to query this account but they insist it's correct. I received a spreadsheet from them and i had a number of questions regarding it. The amounts are not tying up so i asked them to tell me how they worked out the first amount so i could calculate the rest. I also asked them to send me a spreadsheet for the month of July to show me how they got a total of R23.40. This request was sent last week Thursday and till today there is no response. I sent them an e-mail telling them i am going to expose this because i feel they are not being honest here. Is it not within my rights to know how they calculate the water bills? What is this company hiding, why don't they want to tell me how they worked the amounts out?
