The Dobermann Club
Unqualified Flyball Trainers

Miscellaneous

The Dobermann Club is offering flyball dog lessons using trainers who have no previous experience with flyball and flyball competitions. This means that the club is taking fees for lessons where progress is extremely slow and where it is not possible for the dogs and handlers to learn the sport even after attending classes for a year. Attempts to approach the trainers, the club chairman and the training supervisor were unsuccessful - they insist on continuing to do the lessons as they are - with unqualified teachers, unwillingness to take client feedback into consideration and in some cases ignoring client feedback altogether. It is a basic principle of teaching that you cannot teach what you cannot do and have never done. The Dobermann Club's flyball trainers have no more experience in flyball than the clients paying for lessons.

Attending these flyball lessons was a waste of time and money as my dog had to learn everything from scratch at another training venue.
