Aggressive and rude manager at Inyoni Estate

On Monday 17th June I took my American guest to the Inyoni Estate Crocodile Farm in Hartbesspoortdam. We checked the times before entering and it said they closed at 1pm on public holidays.
When we entered the reception area at 1235 there was no inside the building, I called several times and we walked through to see if we could find any staff. At 1245 we still couldnt find anyone so we went back to reception to find the door had been locked and we were stuck inside the encloser. I climbed the wall and eventually caught a young boys attention. After another 10 minute an older man finally came to unlock the door. It was 5 minutes to closing time!

He became very abusive and aggressive with my American guest and started shouting at him when we explained that NOBODY was in the reception area when we arrived and he accused us of lying and breaking in- which was impossible as there was only one door into the venue. I said to my friend we should leave and the man demanded payment (despite the fact we had not been assisted in any way or shown the facilities).

It left a very bad impression on my American visitor, he felt that South African hospitality and courtesy was seriously lacking!
