Are towns moving in SA?

Ive had my TomTom for almost three years and it has been reasonably reliable most of the time. On a recent visit to the West Coast it hashowever let me down badly! The trip from Cape Town to Dwarskersbos ended in Gouda!...almost 300 km of course! From Vredenburg to Paternoster is now 335 km and not the usual 12 km. I do understand that roads change and street names change but towns dont move!! I need a reliable GPS and answers from TomTom!
