ANOTHER NAMPAK OF AND INTIMIDATION?

I am writing on behalf of Mahmod Abu Maseid - a Jordanian friend still coming to grips with our local languages - who is being subjected to totally illegal and unwarranted demands from Nampak in regards to a motor accident involving Mahmod and a Nampak employee, Daniel Jacques, In Rosettenville, Johannesburg on 1 May 2013.
Despite recorded, irrefutable evidence of on-the-scene witnesses comprising vehicle passengers; onlookers; a third-party driver whose vehicle was also hit by Daniel Jacques; and police officers from the JMPD that the Cape Town-based Nampak driver was totally at fault, Mahmod has subsequently received a demand for settlement in an unknown amount from Nampak's legal representatives, Lawcor.
Mahmod's vehicle has yet to be transferred into his name; is worth a mere R20 000-odd; and represents all that he has. It seems to me that given these circumstances, coupled with his language difficulties and lack of resources, Nampak / Lawcor have cunningly pigeon-holed his case as yet another `no-contest' claim and intend using their muscle to once again intimidate a claimant into submission...
Not this time!
