Damaged Pond Plants

I contacted aquanet to put a net over my pond. After the onsite assessment I called the guy who did the assessment and asked him if my pond plants will be ok when installing the net or if I should arrange for my garden lady to be there when it is installed so she can remove them and replant if necessary. He assured me that the plants will be fine and I don't need to worry. After the net was installed I was shocked to find out that the installer said that the plants were too thick and needed to be cut and he proceeded to cut the plants to make way for the net. When I called Kerry on the same day of installation she said that her guys never cut plants and that she'll speak to her manager and sort it out. This was last week Monday and I haven't heard anything from Kerry. I am really disappointed as our plants are really a mess now, and it is winter now so they will take about 6 months to grow back. I would like to know how aquanet plans to fix the damage they have done.
