UIF CLAIMS ZONE
WAITING FOR A CLAIM FOR OVER 3 MONTHS

I went on maturnity on the 13th of January 2013. I submitted all my UIF claim forms on the 20th of february 2013. The following week when I called in to ask how my application is, they tell me that my forms are not all submitted. On the 4th of March i re - submitted all my documents in the hopes that I will be assisted. They tell me I should wait for 4 to 6 weeks for payment. After 6 weeks on the 4th of April 2013 I personally go again to the Skinner Labour Centre and speak to the manger and she tells me it takes 8 weeks for payment to go through. After 2 weeks I phone in, they tell me there is NO RECORD of my application.

This is really frustrating, I have a new born baby of which I need to take care of. I really do not know what to do anymore because its as if my efforts are wasted.
